About Dr Badiani
Dr Badiani is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Health NHS Trust and at One Welbeck Heart Health. She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2003 and completed her cardiology specialty training in 2021. She is trained in all aspects of general cardiology and assesses patients with chest pain, shortness of breath, leg swelling, palpitations and fainting.
Her areas of expertise lie in advanced echocardiography (bubble and stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography), cardiopulmonary exercise testing, heart valve disease and heart failure. Dr Badiani has completed a PHD in ”Novel Biomarkers in the Assessment of Aortic Stenosis”, has multiple peer reviewed publications and has presented her research at national and international conferences.
In addition to her clinical work and research, she is committed to teaching and regularly organises educational courses regarding cardiological education. She has several leadership roles including recently being elected President of the Cardiology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine.
